Corrine Bailey Rae Takes Center Stage

The concert date is in May, but the time to get tickets to see Corrine Bailey Rae is now. Rae burst on the American music scene in 2006 with her self titled debut album.
Fresh from Britain she cracked the Top 20 with singles like ‘Put Your Records On’ and ‘Like A Star.’ Her follow-up album, Sea, continues to put Rae on the musical map and now she has announced a date in Atlanta, so you can see her perform live.
Do yourself a favor and get your ticket to see Corrine Bailey Rae at Center Stage on May 11. You could always use it as a great Valentines Day gift.

Chocolates for Valentine’s Day

How would you like a three hour tour of chocolate? No, I’m not saying you should watch “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” Instead I’m suggesting you consider the Atlanta Trolley Tour.
If chocolate isn’t your forte (what?) then why not have a romantic dinner for two at one of the local hotspots. Reservations are still available for Canoe, Pasta Da Pulcinella, Enoteca Carbonari and Toulouse.
You can also catch a free concert at SCAD’s free Ivy Hall Music Series Valentine’s Day concert featuring live flamenco music. The performance is set at 3 p.m. at Ivy Hall on Ponce de Leon. There’s also Poetry and Passion at Center Stage on Saturday, Feb. 13.
